The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #093 ~ In the middle of the highway

This is my entry for B&W photography and art contest hosted by @axeman.

In the middle of the highway, but literally so, is this photo taken on the bridge that connects the left and right sides of the highway. That bridge is somewhere halfway between my city of Šibenik and the capital Zagreb.

The name of this section of the highway is the name Dalmatina and it connects the capital with the south and the Pelješac bridge is just ending before the entrance to the city of Dubrovnik.

The length of this section is 550 kilometers and was opened in 2005, major projects on this section alone are two tunnels Sveti Rok (5727 m) and Mala Kapela (5801 m) and the Peljesac bridge (2400 meters still under construction). In addition to these larger projects, many more viaducts, smaller bridges and rest areas have been built.

If you cross this small bridge it means you are hungry and going to the ‘Macola’ rest area.
So we headed to an early lunch and we offer sausage in bean sauce and one cold beer,
