Common houseleek (lat. Sempervivum - which means “to live forever” , semper = always and vivum = life) this beautiful plant and its flower are really amazing it is used in traditional medicine because of its anti-inflammatory and diuretic effect.
It consists of thick fleshy leaves that are rich with juice. Raw young leaves are edible, and it is their juice that is the reason for its healing effect.
It is used in the form of juice, fat or tea.
