Blue eye - Traditional Watercolor | sequence of its elaboration. 🎨 (ENG/ESP)
One of the most difficult things for a painter is to portray a face, because you could result in a similar or very similar image of the person portrayed or you could result in the face of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
I have made many mistakes when portraying a face, my wife has insisted that I portray her and I am looking for a photograph that captures an ideal angle to portray her and not fail in the attempt.
One of the most difficult parts of a face are the eyes, the brightness, the shadows, the pupils, the nuances, it is something that is not easy to portray, much less in watercolor.
Remember that I am an autodidact and I have observed publications of true artists who often repeatedly practice the image of the eyes.
For this reason, on this occasion I bring you the image of "the eye"
For this I chose an image of a blue eye that actually looks like the image of the planet earth in its pupil.
Blue eyes, in my opinion, are the most beautiful; only 8% of the world's population have them, so if you have blue eyes, you are among that statistic. Unlike the brown eyes that make up 80%, I belong to this statistic.
Something that I was able to learn today about the color of the pupils, which depends on the quality and quantity of melanin, if you have brown eyes you have more melanin in your pupils than people with blue eyes.
Do you have beautiful blue eyes?

Below I show you a photographic sequence of its preparation.

Eyes were always interesting subject for artists. I find blue and blue-green eyes the most interesting in painting, especially in watercolour. You did a good work on different values f blue and that highlight makes it lively.
I like the soft, warm tones of this painting.
