SUNFLOWERS 🌻🌞🌻

Sun flowers have a sun like appearance, hence the name sunflower.

People say that they symbolize adoration, loyalty and longevity.

Sunflowers follow heliotropism , which is the directional growth of a plant in response to sunlight.

These are the sunflowers that my aunt planted near the house ,they are really tall.

Some of them were withered because of the harsh sun , i took these photos in the evening.

This picture is my favourite from all the pictures that i clicked , i clicked them using my android phone.
I think the colours in this picture look very pretty.

Sunflowers are not just pretty flowers , they are used widely for their oil , and they also help to detox contaminated soil. I read somewhere that Millions of sunflowers were planted in japan after the devastating tsunami that destroyed nuclear reactors in Fukushima.
