Long Video Criteria

Short Video Criteria

To monetize it, your channel should complete 1000 subscribers and 10 million views in the last 90 days. Now YouTube will keep 55% of the revenue generated from these ads and 45% will give to the creator. This distribution will be based on views. That is, those who will get more views in this month will get more and those who will get fewer views will get less revenue. And one more thing if you have a channel for long videos then you can also make short videos. You will get 45% revenue if it generates on your shorts. And you are already getting the revenue from long videos. This way you will get benefits in both ways.

Super Thanks Option on Short

The third update is also about short. If your short channel gets monetized, the option of Super Thanks will be open on your videos. As it is now on a long video. The Super Thanks system will be slightly different. If someone gives money by super thanks option while watching your video then 70% of it YouTube will give to you and 30% will keep by youtube.
