The coast of the Obvodny Canal

This is the rare case when I can say “coast of the Obvodny Canal” and not “the embankment of the Obvodny Canal”. Because the Obvodny channel, almost entirely, almost 8 kilometers of the channel, is faced with granite slabs.This small patriarchal piece of the coast is located near the confluence of the canal into the Ekaterinofka river. For urban conditions such nature can be considered virgin.

These steps on the slope remind me of my childhood. I used to go down such steps to the river to get a couple of liters of water for my garden in early childhood. And it seemed like a hard task. To go down, to get up, and the main thing is not to pour this water under your feet, making the track impassable.

A flower bed with daisies is also as if from my childhood. The same ones were located everywhere - in front of the railway station, near the post office, at the bus stop. I think such flowerbeds will be easy to find even now, if you just leave town a little bit. It is not customary to plant daisies. Tulips or peonies in the city flowerbeds - this is please, and daisies are not solemn enough, probably.
