My Village Affected by Milkfish Floods
Our village, a place once filled with life and joy, is now trapped in bitterness due to the devastating milkfish flood. This small village is located on the banks of a quiet and beautiful river, but that calm is replaced by waves of boiling water and bringing a flash flood that destroys everything.

This rare but extremely destructive natural phenomenon has become a nightmare for the people of our village. My family and I, along with the villagers, had fled up the hill, and could only see, all the houses and possessions, Houses submerged, fields buried, and our daily lives uprooted from our grasp. as in the picture.
Agriculture is the breath of our village. But the milkfish flood had taken everything....everything....The newly planted crops with great difficulty, were all hit by the flood. The fertile rice fields are now submerged in water and polluted by milkfish waste. Farmers who depend on their agricultural products to survive are forced to face countless losses. However, the most painful loss is the loss of a loved one's home and possessions. The houses that were a place to shelter and build memories are carried away without a trace. Valuable items such as household furniture, agricultural tools, and even family memories were lost in the fierce tide of milkfish.
But in the midst of this suffering, a ray of hope emerged from the darkness. Villagers unite to help others in this difficult time. They opened temporary shelters, providing food and basic supplies to those who had lost everything. Solidarity between neighbors affected by the flood provides solace in the midst of a disaster. Help from outside also began to flow. The local government, together with charities and volunteers, came to provide emergency response assistance. They brought food supplies, clean water and medical aid to help affected residents. Apart from that, assistance to restore villages was also provided, including rebuilding houses and rehabilitating agricultural land affected by flooding.
Although the road to recovery will be long and full of challenges, our village has found strength in unity. The flash flood may have been destructive, but it will not destroy our spirit and determination to get back on our feet. With each other's help and support, we are confident that our village will stand strong again, stronger than before.
That's what I can say, hopefully we can all participate in preventing forest clearing, which is carried out by irresponsible individuals.
