Patrick Bateman in American Psycho(Pintura en Gouache-Full Colors)
Heeey, dear steemit artists. Today I want to show you a painting that I did, about one of my favorite movies, and the importance of color in it and why I am practicing more with them, and trying to get them fully into what I do.
If you do not know what movie it is, I highly recommend it, it is a film from the year 2000 starring Christian Bale, and it has a performance by Jared Leto.
It is about a New York executive, with a lot of power and a fairly comfortable life, in which I have no taste for anything and discover his taste for blood and killing. It is the perfect portrait of a psychopath.
Process
Placing the layer of red causes me a lot of anxiety because I did not know if it could damage the drawing, I did the same and try to go from the paler and lighter to begin to darken it.
This painting is an experiment with the color red and the lights, the truth was I was very careful to respect the white spaces where the light is a lot, and despite doing it in my style.
To finish and not make the post so long and with so many photographs. I want to recommend the film, and that this week I will be posting more frequently, I have days off and I really want to paint :)

I can remember that artist, it is nice to see that you are experimenting with the difficult tasks in doing portrait, light and shadows, skin tone and blood on. Well done!
