RE: Garden work: Spring tidy up
Yes, love snowdrops, funny that they are there even if it is cold, usually early March it is the time for them here. I wonder if you also have snowdrops in South Africa and how could it will be there in winter?
My favourite season is Spring, love when plants has sap green colour and flowers blooming everywhere. Summer is also becoming hotter in Europe, probably due to climate change. Last year we were lucky that there were some rainy days unlikely than three years ago.
Our skip was picked up today, at least we have more space now in driveway. Next is to start thinking about the summer flowers and some berries :)
Wishing you nice week too :)
I am pretty sure we have snowdrops around these parts... I will actually ask next time I am at the nursery. Our Winters are bitterly cold - and much colder here in the country than it is over the mountain in Cape Town. We don't get snow, other than on the mountain peaks, but we can see those mountain peaks from here (be they a fair distance) so it is verrrry cold and rainy. I suppose I would say that the distinct aspect of our Winters is probably the storms. We have some REALLY brutal Winter storms!
Spring is indeed a beautiful season and it ALWAYS feels great to come out of hibernation lol! I love Autumn too and am hoping to do quite a bit in my garden in the upcoming weeks because it has cooled down to temperatures that don't turn you into a liquid blob now, haha!
Aaah that is great! It is always a nice feeling to clean up a space - giving it a whole new lease on life! I still have loads of those "spots" around here which we just have not gotten to yet... perhaps in Sprint too, lol!
