RE: Considerations on the meaning of the number 5
Wow, that is really interesting, have never thought about that. But that is why everything has something in common. Do you know how in many nations people are anxious about 666 and 13 but when looking at the 5 maybe that is a Number that has something in it.
There a re a lot that we do not understand but I love such mysterious and non-explainable stuff. Thank you for bringing this up :)
When I was young I was very interested in these things. In fact, I find it very interesting how we can link art and mathematics and mathematics with esoteric knowledge.
There is ancient knowledge that today seems very intriguing to us and although I keep a certain distance from everything that is said in this field, I cannot deny that there are things that are beyond our knowledge or our senses.
In this regard, I remember a very interesting book "The Mysteries of the Cathedral of Chartres" that describes all the details of the construction of the cathedral, the reason for that place, the orientation, the numerical relationships, etc.
I love the numerical relationships that can be established with art, without going any further, think about the perspective, it's pure mathematics or the golden ratio linked to the aesthetic sense of composition in all the arts (music, architecture, painting, sculpture, etc).
And all this brings us to the mysterious and hidden side that concerns the meaning of numbers.
I believe that the ancients knew many things that we do not know today.
One day I will write about the concepts behind the ogives of the building of the cathedrals in the Gothic era.
