That is so wonderful seascape, while reading through your post I also thought the same when you are at seaside and see everything live it is much more fascinating, perhaps the combination of noise of crushing waves and smell of sea salt, noisy seagull and the reflection of sun on water surface. That everything contributes to our visual picture. by the way I forgot about the waves, the transparent wave that is ready to crush, that is favorite for the artists. I believe it was worth to get wet.
