My ArtVenture: Pastel painting „Mr. Joe Biden “- EXCLUSIVE on Steem
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
Welcome to my weekend post and that post was inspired by the best news that made me really happy. After couple of days of impatiently waiting for the outcome of the US Election yesterday we finally heard that Trump has lost the election to Joe Biden, Democratic candidate!!!
Maybe many of you will wonder what we have from it, we are not living in America and have not voted as well as we are not affected anyhow.
But when we look at last 4 years when Trump was at the power:
- He is the creator and perfectionist of “Alternative Facts”: even now he is claiming that actually he has won.
- He removed all uncomfortable people from the ruling posts and replaced them with the people who are loyal to him.
- He is spreading false information everywhere.
- His position towards Climate change
- His position towards police violence
- Everyone seen his position to other ethnic groups , that he openly showed
That became so dangerous and a powder keg and it was the time that he should be removed. I think many understand that and even if they are not really fans of Biden but they realize that Trump must go: Therefore, many supported Biden.
We have had a sign of relief, I was so excited to hear that news and was positively charged for the whole day.
That is the reason why I wanted to do a portrait of Biden, the man who will have a difficult time but he and Kamala Harris, who will be the Vice President will do a good job.
I am glad that I was able to finish it today EXCLUSIVELY and thank the Steemit Team and @steemcurator01 supporting Art on Steem

Спасибо @singa, мне приятно слышать такие слова, я сразу думаю о своем отце. Он прекрасно делал портреты, наверное это любовь к рисованию портретов, а также его умение перешли ко мне.

You appear to exercise a good deal of skill and ease with the medium, how long have you been working with pastels?
Thank you for sharing your process shots. I find so much beauty in the process of creation, whether participating directly or vicariously. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
I love working with pastel, started in august 2017, the time when I joined Steemit. But when initially it was quite difficult to get the right tone and right intensity of colours, as well as to know how to blend them, now it is almost happening automatically. I actually enjoy working with soft pastel both sticks and pencils.
Agree I love to capture the moments, later on it is good to return and analyze when I create something different but need to know what colours I used and in which order.

That's a very nice piece of work @stef1!
Over here, many of us are very happy that the Trump era seems to be coming to an end. Even though I am not a US citizen, I still feel like he did considerable harm to the country, both domestically, and in the eyes of the world. But then again, I'm not sure people fully understood what they were electing, four years ago... he came in to run things like a business, not like a country, and that created of tensions.
The world and people are so easy to influence now, especially using al the possible media people can create their own image and run their own shown on twitter, youtube and other social media. There are so many so called "influencer". I feel that people instead of reading newspapers and watching news channels are surfing in Internet for news adn you can imagine how much false information are there.
Now the country is polarizing so much that Trump should give up in sake of nation. But I am afraid he still wants to be in center of show and will not walk silently. Unfortunately there are about two months till the end of Trump Era.
But at least I have a lot of hope now in the better future for the whole world :)

I am glad that you like this work. Yes, I believe not only people living in US are happy but all over the world. But still the inauguration is ahead hopefully will be no trouble from Trump side :)
