Power Up 100% (Nominate day 18) - Some Saturday thoughts on the environment

I was not prepared to see such a view in the middle of a relatively large city in Bulgaria.

A city that I often say that the chemical plant in it gives birth to 'monsters'. Considering that I have seen in its vicinity insects as large as I have never seen anywhere else in my life.

The mortality rate in Bulgaria is quite high. And this is being talked about even more at the moment, during the crisis with the virus, but I am sure that the mortality rate in this particular city is higher than the national average. It's just not officially talked about.

However, for some time now, the topic of bee extinction and, consequently, human extinction has been very topical.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, too. Maybe from this spring and also during this summer. Observing what is happening in the nature around me, to the plants, animals and insects.

How many new insect species I saw this year! That I've never seen before. And how many new species of bees too!

So, in my opinion, the topic of bee extinction and our extinction is quite exaggerated.

And seeing this thing in the middle of this polluted city that you see in the pictures, I am convinced that this is so. Insect organisms are much stronger and more adaptable to the environment and living conditions than we think. Much stronger than us, as it turns out.

But still, please be a little more responsible for the environment! This will help not only the bees and other creatures we coexist with on this planet, but us as well.
