Introduction

Hello my fellow steemians,
It has really been quite a long time since I participated in the weekly contest organised here in this noble community. Ernestly it has not really been very easy for me here in this part of the world. I am happy that am fully back to continue writing good and quality content here in this noble community. Today I will be writing on the topic titled "High Risk Betting" which was organised by our very own most active user in the person of @adeljose.

Today I present to you a true life story of myself and how betting affected my life negatively. Please read to the end and get the full details of my story.

In the year 2018, which happens to be my third year in the university, I was introduced by a friend into the betting line. Well, as a novice in that part, I was always adviced to bet games on football since I too love playing and watching football. Well, to be frank with you all, at the first instance it look very beautiful because most of my selection where quite an interesting once so I normally win my games. That gave me joy and I started picking much interest in gambling. Everyday I make sure I bet at least a game or two. As a matter of fact I make cash out eventually every day of the week.

On the 28 day of March 2018, a day I will never forget, i took the biggest risk of my life. On this day, I took my entire school fees which was worth #150,000 to gamble or bet on this game that was sent to me by a friend, he called it sure game meaning the game is 100% sure. At first I was not convince within me to bet on that game with my entire school fees but he reassured me showing me proof of the last one he just played that earned him more than a million naria. I decided to take my chances and then I oblaged and played the game. Sincerely, it was not easy for me because I was not able to sleep on that day because I was waiting for the football to be played the next day.

On that faithful day, I hurriedly went to the football watching centre two hours before the commencement of the game. I waited for the game to start. At the start of the game the team I gave winners where doing perfectly very well and my hope was raised. I was just waiting for the game to be over so that I will cash out my money. Before the first half finished, the team I played as winners already had 2 goals with their opponents have none. The guy that sent me the game called me and told me that I am already a winner and I should start budgeting what I want to do with my money after removing my school fees.

The tragedy of the entire scenario started at the second half of the play. The other team came back as though they were fed with something different. Within 10 minutes of the second half, the ecolized and the game became 2-2. For the first time in my life I stood and starts shaking as if I was caught with an epilipsy sickness. Truth be said I never saw the end of the game because at exactly 25 minutes in to the second half the other team added two more goals making it 2-4. I was later told that I collapsed and was rushed to the school clinc where I was attended to my medical experts.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I lost the game and my entire money vanished, I was sent out from the school that very year and I had to go and do manual labour just so to raise money and support myself in the academic world.

My advice to anyone who is involve in betting is that never use the money you can't loose to bet with it. What am saying in essence just like the crypto currency trading where you see increase and decrease eventually at all time, you should not invest money you can not afford to loose in betting.
