Weekly Contest. "Photographing Cathedral Church Week #1". /Concurso Semanal. "Fotografiando Iglesia Catedral, Semana #1".

Muy buenos días a todos los miembros de la comunidad @worldofxpilar.

La iglesia que he elegido para participar en el concurso, es la del barrio donde he vivido gran parte de mi vida, en la localidad de Sant Jordi de Ses Salines.

Es una bonita construcción de color blanco inmaculado, como la mayoría de templos que hay en Ibiza.

Construida en el siglo XIV y posteriormente reformada, es una de las iglesias mejor conservadas de la isla. Es un templo fortificado, así mantenía a los feligreses a salvo de los ataques piratas.

En la plaza de la iglesia, durante el mes de Agosto, hay cine gratuito para todos los públicos, un bonito entorno para disfrutar de una película.

Good morning to all the members of the @worldofxpilar community.

The church I have chosen to participate in the contest is the one in the neighbourhood where I have lived most of my life, in the town of Sant Jordi de Ses Salines.

It is a beautiful immaculate white building, like most of the churches on Ibiza.

Built in the 14th century and later renovated, it is one of the best-preserved churches on the island. It is a fortified temple, so it kept the congregation safe from pirate attacks.

In the church square, during the month of August, there is a free cinema for all audiences, a beautiful setting to enjoy a film.
