I decided to go with the writing level on A STORY.
BEGINNINGS

Abike never thought she would witness the dawn of another day, she squeaked as she tried to move her legs gently... they still hurt.
The night before an argument had ensued, it keeps happening, whenever she tried having a reasonable conversation with Kola, he over reacts and hits her.
It was about one of his mistresses again, she had the guts to come to their home to see Kola, she had no shame or RESPECT, oh Kola didn't have either, so why would she?
Abike kept her calm all through till she left before facing Kola who gave her a hot slap after the first sentence.
"Who are you to question me in my house woman?" he roared.
It's been 5 long years since this evil incarceration called marriage, she hasn't breathe in 5 years, its has been from one webbed cob to another.
Kola wouldn't let her work or do anything, he said a proper married woman stayed home and catered to the needs of the family, the first year they got married, somehow she allowed him have his year, and as the years rolled by, he evolved into a mysterious monster.
Enough is enough! Abike thought allowed, she would leave this sham called a marriage, Kola forced her on contraceptives too, she had nothing, she was loosing it
Through the help of a friend, Abike secured an island far away from the city, in the outskirts.
It was peaceful, the fine sands sparkled like gold, the skies were a rich blue, the waters clear as a mirror and the green plants danced all around in cognizance of her presence.
"This is it !" Abike screamed aloud
She would be free again, entwined with nature.
"I would start life again, THIS IS MY BEGINNING" She smiled.
