SCENE OPENS IN KING IRE'S COMPOUND IN A SMALL VILLAGE WEST, KING IRE HAS TWO SONS, ZIKE AND ZARO.
When King Ire fell sick due to aging, Zike thought perhaps, this was his chance.
King Ire planned a big ceremony on his sick bed, he invited his best friend, a king in another kingdom who came with his only daughter.
As the ceremony progressed, Zike stormed into the kitchen to poison Zaro's meal using tactics to keep the chef away unfortunately the princess walked in unexpectedly and caught him in the act.
Prince Zaro was wondering the delay in his food and decided to find out, he met the princess and his brother in an awkward mood when the princesd tried talking Zike grabbed her and covered her mouth, Zaro tried to rescue and Zike quickly grabbed a knife and threatened.
Zaro kept coming forward, Zike stabbed the princess and threw her body at his younger brother and fled. So everyone walked in and saw the dead body of the princess with Zaro hence he was tagged the killer.
It was a heartbreaking event for his father, and even the people of the kingdom.
Zaro's punishment was to be taken to the village of the princess where he would be beheaded by the chiefpriest.
The D-day came, the people from both kingdoms gathered.
After much incantations by the chief priest he proceeded to the assignment of beheading Zaro, only when he picked the picked the cutlass to slay, the cutlass kept opposing, he went in for further consultations with the gods and announced to all and sundry that the accused is innocent.
Zike was fished out and paid dearly with his life.
MORAL LESSON:
Evil and jealousy has never done any man no good !
