Vietnam is once again training for jungle warfare, but don’t they realize the capabilities of modern infrared technology?

Nowadays, militaries around the world are moving towards modernization and informatization, and this is ultimately to enhance the combat strength of their countries.

We often say that technology is the core combat power, and that is indeed the case.

The victory of a war relies on integrated joint operations, supported by strong technological advancements. With the development of technology, jungle guerrilla warfare is clearly no longer suitable for modern combat needs.

With infrared thermal imaging, it is now possible to quickly detect the enemy. Without proper cover, they would essentially be moving targets!

Relying on advanced technology, we can deploy attack drones. After just a few battles, the enemy may have lost thousands of soldiers, while we would have only lost a few tens of thousands of unmanned devices, at most.

Looking at it this way, they might not have even seen a single enemy soldier, but would already be mentally defeated.

Although I believe that Vietnam’s focus on jungle warfare is due to relatively weaker weaponry and strategy, this type of training is probably the best they can do given their resources. After all, they are limited by their current capabilities and conditions, and can only train their tactical skills within these constraints.
