Ring-like Memories
Honestly, I’m not a fan of jewelry or other shiny trinkets, especially rings. Whenever I wore them, for some reason, I always felt uncomfortable. I remember always being irritated by having something on my finger and simply being afraid that I might lose it. Since I don’t own any jewelry at home, I decided to visit my grandparents’ house.
I managed to uncover quite a few things there. I found a small golden ring with a leaf and a flower featuring three petals in the center. It immediately caught my attention, so I asked my grandma about its story.
It turned out that the ring belongs to my mom. She used to wear it when she was young. She received it as a gift from her aunt when she was just a little girl.
While taking photos, I couldn’t resist trying on some rings. Some were too small, others too big, but eventually, I found the perfect one that fit. (The ring is perched on top of a pumpkin in the photo.) I decided to take it with me and wear it, but only for special occasions. On a daily basis, I don’t think I could handle it—it would feel too irritating for me.
Among my search for suitable objects for the photos, I also uncovered quite a few warm memories and stories. This contest made me reflect on how important some objects can be to us. It’s surprising how much history they can carry.
What do you think—how many stories could one little ring hold?
Have a good day!

Greetings @serdak
Interesting ways to show us these beautiful accessories, for some people, it is better to be free of clothing, especially because they feel more comfortable, as is your case.
Thank you for joining the contest.
