Photrait Photographs.

Good morning, @xpilar. I'm happy to see that my name is once again among one of the contest's three lucky winners which win a free 30% upvotes.

I decided to share with you a few portrait pictures I took with my iPhone.

I took this picture when I went to the well-known temple Nelligala in Sri Lanka. On either side of the Shrine's entrance, there are two of these lion statues.

This is the relic shrine located inside the Buddha Temple where devotees can offer prayers.

This is one of the Mahayana Buddha statues that was constructed in the same temple.

This is a statue of Load Suman Saman riding a white elephant that is descending to earth from Sri Pada Mountain.

This golden stupa I captured from Nelligala Temple.

This is a picture of the "Madol Kurupuwa," a substantial wooden pin that connects 26 rafters at one end of the dancing hall roof. This is an excellent illustration of medieval carpentry in this nation.
