homecoming
Hello dear friends!
Today in my yard I saw a small river turtle crawling around the yard without a specific purpose. A river flows a block away from me, most likely a turtle crawled out of there to visit me. I took a short photo shoot of the turtle to add to my photo collection and then took the turtle to the river. I have not gone to the river for a long time, although I live nearby.
Approaching the river, I climbed the bridge and froze, just froze. Oh shit! Someone stole the river! Yes, yes ... She practically did not exist. One channel most likely dried up long ago, and the second is barely alive. EVEN TURTLES DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN THIS RIVER.
This is how rivers disappear. As a child, I learned to swim on this river, the depth was up to 3 meters in some places. We swam in ⛵ boats, fished, in general summer passed on the river, but these are my memories, which are overgrown with reeds, sorry ...
After taking a short walk along the arid river bed, I was disappointed with what I saw. Especially a teddy bear with his face in the mud. 😭 I hope that soon a lot of water will come and life in the river will seethe again.
Well, a couple of photos from the top of the cliff. The view is, of course, magnificent, I remember before often gathering with friends at the top of the cliff and organizing competitions. They threw stones into the river, which sometimes prevented the fishermen from catching fish.
I almost forgot about the turtle. We need to let her out, goodbye my friend. Found a beautiful place where frogs live, I hope the turtle will have fun
