Wood-Burned Art: Mushroom Frog (Club100)
It's November now and, well, not much has changed. Still cranking out as much art as I can. It's virtually a 24/7 gig but, while becoming quite poor, I am rich with happiness!
This piece of art is a wood-burned and colored mushroom-hat wearing frog climbing a mushroom covered tree surrounded by lightning bugs. No blowtorch for this one. I used a larger width burning pen to get the background blackened before painting the firefly swirls. A couple coats of sealer and voila, she ready!
This cute little guys was a lot of fun to make and I look forward to sharing many more creations in the coming months. For now, it's time to get a little bit more done before getting ready for another (hopefully) thrilling World Series game here in Philadelphia. Go Phils!

Tell me, should your works hang on the wall or stand on a shelf/table?
Either way typically works. That is, if it was meant to be on the wall it can be displayed on a stand. I always sell the wall/desk art pieces with a sawtooth mount installed. If the customer wants to display with a stand, they can get that themselves. Perhaps someday I will add them to my store but the profit margin probably would be too low to want to deal with shipping them and keeping inventory of it.
Thanks, I get it.
