Sylvester is a poor guy who has always worked very hard because of his insatiable desire for material thing. He has a beautiful wife, Hilda, who love and cherish him so much. She could see the potentials in her husband but to Sylvester, potentials doesn’t cut it for him. He has been oppressed for too long by the rich folks and he can’t remain at the bottom anymore.

His pursuit for wealth and fame, made him to make a pact with the devil and in a twinkle of an eye, Sylvester heart desires was granted. He was known all over the city but the repercussion of his deal with the devil was hidden in the shadows, waiting to reveal itself at the right moment.

When Sylvester became rich, he was so arrogant that he barely takes even from his wife. His extravagant lifestyle and escapade with ladies, forced Hilda to leave with the kids but nothing she did bothered him because he knows with his new found wealth he can get any lady he wants.

In his ruthless journey , to the upper echelons of power, he stepped on so many toes and betrayed a lot of people. One of such persons was Isaac, a top business tycoon whose company Sylvester cunningly took from him while he was on a trip overseas. Sylvester framed him up for money laundering putting him on police“wanted list”, making Isaac scared of entering the country for fear of being arrested.

But there’s one thing, Sylvester failed to notice. Isaac had a daughter, called dahlia, in the company, who he was not aware of because of the different surname she carried. She has deceitfully worked her way to be his personal assistant and secret lover, so she could avenge her dad. She was patient, waiting for the right time to strike back and when she saw the opportunity, she took advantage of it by manipulating Sylvester into investing in a wrong deal that brought about the collapse of the company.

The other stakeholders, who also had major shares in the company, sued him to court. Too bad for Sylvester, he also had enemies within the judiciary system that wanted him to receive a harsh punishment, which got him 50 years in prison.

In prison, Sylvester didn’t have anyone to check up on him. Even the ones who claimed to be his close friends when his was successful, abandoned him. While he was busy reflecting on his past, thinking of his beautiful Hilda, the devil appeared to him once again, proposing a deal to him this time, since he has been a faithful servant. The devil said he’ll send him back in time, so that he can take revenge on those who hurt him. Sylvester accepted!

Sylvester started by making amends with his wife Hilda and the kids by showing them so much love and affection before going out for his revenge mission. He used the knowledge he had of the future of his enemies to his own advantage, so he could torment them.

He started with the judge by framing him with a lady for sexual harassment. The judge was disgraced out of office and was imprisoned for the same 50 years he sentenced Sylvester. He made sure dahlia’s father, Isaac was arrested this time even before he could leave the country for his trip and as for Dahlia, he made sure she suffered series of personal and professional disaster that made it impossible to get any job offer, not even as a cleaner.

When he was done with his sinister plans, he returned back to meet his beautiful family. On there way to a family vacation, they had a fatal road accident, killing everyone except him. The devil was the one who orchestrated it. For years, Sylvester devised many means to end his life because of the emptiness within him but the devil won’t let it happen.

The only people that gave his life a meaning have been destroyed because he decided to make a deal with the devil. In the end, he had all the riches he wanted but he’s now forced to leave in desolation all his life as the devil’s puppet
