Purple . The Bougainvillea.
Today I propose a very common flower in the Mediterranean area. The Bougainvillea also in this period can be seen with its exuberant flowering of many colors. Red, white, yellow, orange and purple. This violet is perhaps the traditional and oldest color for this flower.
I knew the varieties with the other colors later ... This plant is native to Brazil where it was discovered in 1768 and has the particularity of forming very vigorous climbing shrubs. In my part it is widely used to form pergolas or in fences. Its flower is actually the very small white one protected by the bratree that are these coloring leaves that constitute the characteristic inflorescences of this beautiful creeper.
