Put Conscious Efforts Into Your Plans: Be Intentional With Your Success Strategies
The kind of success that you seek for will require that you put conscious effort into working on your dreams and plans. As a civil engineer for example, you might have had a nice architectural drawing from a brilliant architect, but it will not become a physical building by just wishing for it, it is now your duty to put together blocks, cement, rods, woods, etc, towards making what is drawn on the paper to become a physical structure. In the same way in life, you may have a nice idea and some plans of big things, but you still need to put Intentional actions into them. This is what success demands.
No matter how fair (or not) life is, it will not deliver something that is outstandingly big onto your laps until you have worked it out. Take this instance: a land may be very fertile and you may have a very viable seed, but all these will not culminate into harvest until you have planted the seed. So any expectation of harvest that is devoid of planting at the initial is simply a thought in futility. It is after you have consciously and intentionally planted the seed and observed the required farm activities that you will begin to hope for harvest. You cannot get an output from where you have not already given an input. If nothing seems to be working for you, it can simply be inferred that you have done nothing.
Just to let you know, nothing happens until an individual has created the action to make it happen. If you wish for success, then you have to stop wishing and start working. No good and outstanding success answers to just mere wishes, otherwise everyone would have amassed so much success. But to achieve greatness, then you have to be willing to go the extra mile and do the extraordinary. When you have created an idea of what to achieve, you have to analyse what you have to do and what it will take for you to get it, and then start to put in the actions. A lot of people have been dreaming big since years and have not even put even a tiny step towards it, and at the end, they will not be different from someone that does not have a dream.
It does not stop at saying "I have a big dream" or "I have a brilliant idea," but what have you done about the big dream and the brilliant idea? The only thing that will give substance to your dreams and will make them to become reality is your action. I used to tell people that "the worth of an idea is not in how big it looks but in its execution." If you continue to be inactive when you should act, then do not be surprised when things go in an "anyhow" way. If you take a look at the people that have made a lot of impact in life, you will discover that they consciously put in the required and intentionally actions towards life.
From my knowledge of physics and from the insight from Newton's third law of motion; which can also be applicable in other life's situations; I have understood that something will remain at rest indefinitely until action (or force) is applied to it. If you want life to turn out in certain way for you, then you have to act in that particular way. It is what you sow into life (in form of actions, work, etc) that will come back to you as the fruits of success. Success is not gifted as some may wish, it is by obeying the principles of hard work and smart work that it comes. Which simply means that input and output are mutually complementary and inclusive.
Each day that dawns opens you up for infinite possibilities, but these are also effects of what you have put into life. Opportunities abound in life, but they will only profit the doers, not the wishers. If life answers to mere wishes, then every human that can wish can be successful. But for success to be attained and sustained, you must be intentional about it and put conscious actions towards making it a reality.
