Stay tuned as I share wonderful memories here
Memories of those computer days |

Computer class was always amazing for me because I love learning new things, I started with Mavis Beacon and i was taking that class very serious because I need to be very good in typing fast, I have always seen people typing very fast and have been admiring them, sometimes I listen to hip hop musics while typing because it makes me very active. I didn't waste much time in Mavis beacon class because I learnt how to type faster, on time.
I switched over to Microsoft word and it was hell for me in the beginning but I kept on pushing through, I never wanted to give up. I started asking alot of questions and few students who started before me were always guiding me, ensuring that I don't make mistakes all the time and I began to catch up a bit. Ienss so excited that am gradually becoming a computer literate. I kept on advancing in Microsoft word and also typing some work for few customers understand the supervisor of the senior students.
Christmas holiday came and we were given break by our boss so alot of the students travelled but I didn't, I was at home with my family, fulfilling my responsibilities as the president of a particular association in my church as most of my members travelled as well. I had more chance to blog in steemit in the morning hours during that break because I normally use that time to attend computer class.
The holiday was over and my boss opened his cybercafe, I came exactly that fest fay he opened because my father was always reminding to go to class because the holiday has ended and that was the second week of January. I started Microsoft Excel immediately after I did brief revision in Microsoft word. Two other girls resumed on time as well and we started learning Excel. The class is for 2 hours but we always spend 7 hours there because we are willing to learn faster as long as we don't have much things to do at home.
We did this for one week and we finished Excel and started PowerPoint. The girls went to school after we finished PowerPoint for another one week and that was when the other students resumed for the year. I was just excited that I have passed some of my senior students and they were really surprised to see me in Power point. Our boss laughed and said is all about consistency.
I then started Corel draw in the month of February and it wasn't easy for me, is not really an easy package for beginners. I tried all my best and began to design alot of things I lay my hands on, I also drew and designed few imaginative things. It was really a wonderful moment because I got exposed to alot of things but at some point I wasn't consistent in the computer class anymore because of my preparations for the 3 different kinds of exams I have this year, I have successfully finished two and is remaining one.
I stopped going to the class and the last time I went there to do some printing of my results, I saw alot of small children learning there because this is holiday period for children and they will resume school next month so I intend to finish the class at the ending of next month when the children has returned to school and my friends have come back to town because most of them travelled. I MISS THOSE WONDERFUL DAYS.
