Green kenfi Kenfi gets a lot less congenial

Kenfi opened his eyes a slit. His human stood in the doorway, a hand raised in a tentative wave.

Who could she be waving at? Not that complacent community dog, Kenfi would have rolled his eyes if he'd been capable. The dog had a lustrous brown covering of fur and not a single bone of fear in his trim build. Whenever he pranced to the gate and plopped down at his human's feet for his petting! His petting!

It was unforgivable! Simply unforgivable!

“Albicara! Is that you?” his human shrieked.
Reluctantly, Kenfi rose to investigate the cause of the kerfuffle. At the base of stairs, stood a white cat with brown spots. It peered at his human and made to climb the stairs.

Kenfi moved forward then and his back went up. Fluffy and alert. Albicara imitated the gesture.

“ No! No! Kenfi Kenfi! Albicara is your sister. Lost but found. " She burst out in laughter at this.

“Was lost but is now found! Haha"
His human crouched and stroked Albicara's white fur. Albicara's long tail rose in pleasure.

Kenfi Kenfi inched toward his human's hand. The very hand that was peacefully stroking Albicara's spine now.

“ooh Kenfi kenfi! Why do you have to get so jealous, my boy!"
Kenfi Kenfi meowed in protest. He hasn't signed up to share his human. His human stroked his head now and Kenfi opened his eyes a slit and looked at Albicara in triumph.
