Natalie, Little Person, Prominent Heart String
Natalie 2021. Acrylic on canvas, 72 x 52"
A break in a busy exhibition and planning month found us visiting our youngest daughter at college for a long weekend with family, including our elder daughter and beautiful granddaughters. We stayed at an Airbnb in the Berkshires of Northwestern Massachusetts. It was a rich person’s summer home and worth every penny of rent for the joy and inspiration generated. Natalie is four years old yet runs like a yearling gazelle. She stopped in eternity for this painting.
Great energy with the autumn change in the weather. I completed the painting in 10 hours.
That is always impressive to see how the painting is developing, I really love your first photo with such random paints all over the most important is to create a harmony from that using our imagination and inspiration. Agree with Romanie that is absolutely awesome to have a pick into your workshop :)

Thank you for the nomination. I know what you mean. I love to see where others work—a kind of professional voyeurism:) I’ll give a (better lighted) studio tour soon!
Thank you for sharing the process!
