SUMMER IN IBIZA.
Dear Steemians and specially from the WOX community!
I just felt the need to communicate where I´m at as I haven´t published in a long time and I don´t feel I´ve dropped this space to interact but I just haven´t had the space to blog. Life has gotten so intense and busy that I just barely have time for the day to day stuff and I feel I could´t even look into other people´s posts.
It´s been a mixture of workload at my firefighting summer job, my mothers care and moving her into her new home and keeping up with daily needs.
There have been a few, very small art interventions and I would have liked to post about but didn´t find the space to even take the photo and upload it with the explanations.
With this post I don´t announce my regular return, I just found a little space tonight where I found myself exploring a little and feeling like sharing at last this update.
The summer season in Ibiza is being quite active, not like the past two summers. Most days we have incidents to put out but so far very lucky to have reached the fires on time before they grew into big monsters.
Here are some of the images once we have put the fires out.
Anyway, I still cycle to work and back unless I´m on 24h call.

Glad to see your post. It looks like your summer is hot and you have a lot of work. But you are doing a very necessary thing. By locating and extinguishing small fires, you prevent a huge one.
I hope you are all right. Come back when life gets a little less hectic :)

Hi Romanie, I heard about hot weather in Spain and all around there in Europe, also how many fire caught forests and even some settlements. I thought that you might be very busy these days due to weather condition and of course, there might be some other commitments too.
It is always nice to hear from you and to have such photography, I just want to thank you from everyone for your voluntary work to help to keep fire under control.

Thank you for. your kind words. This is a job that I do with love but it´s not voluntary. In Spain the volunteers don´t work directly with the fire, they help us in the logistics and in out organigram, we are all necessary. A team job. I hope to find some time to share some videos also but it takes me too long to upload here. This month my work is from the Helicopter and the views are good! I hope you have a lovely summer! I can imagine that summer keeps you busy, now we have nice cool and rainy two weeks in Germany, hope you also have some cool days there too.

Thank you so much! Lovely to hear your words. Yes, water is very important, and mineral additives, because we sweat so much that water sometimes doesn´t take away the thirst.
