EXPLORING MEMORIES OF LANDSCAPES FORGOTTEN. Workshop in Ibiza in October 2023. (ENG-ESP)

I´m so happy to be able to share this upcoming collaborative workshop that has taken shape in a very organic way, purely though being inspired by each other.
I met Gemma Mallol ( @ ancestral_body) many years ago and there was always a special connection and a latent idea to work together.
I have also felt very closely knitted to Joanna Hruby (@ theatreoftheancients) in her creative process and we have spoken many times about collaborating in some way.
Finally this winter these three forces came together and found the gem we want to share and we have worked on what I feel is a wonderful opportunity to share our creative process with those who would like to take part.

‘Exploring Memories of Landscapes Forgotten’ will fuse exploratory movement in nature (facilitated by @ancestral_body) with a guided artistic journey through playful and surrealist painting processes (@romaniesanchez), and via the shaping of a mythic puppet-mask deity offered back to the land (@ theateroftheancients). You can sign up for one, or both of the five-day journeys, taking place from 9th - 13th & 16th - 20th October, and as they are non-residential they are also open to islanders (we can provide accommodation options to suit a range of budgets).

We consider this new breed of Ibiza retreat to be artistic, political and ecological... rooted in local landscapes and culture, inspiring regeneration through raw expression. We are excited for this to unfold... perhaps you might like to come and join us. 350€ - 450€ (sliding scale) per workshop.

¡Estoy emocionada al poder compartir esta noticia!
Hace ya mucho tiempo que conocí a Gemma Mallol ( @ancestral_body) y a Joanna Hruby (@theatreoftheancients) que en contextos distintos habíamos hablado de la posibilidad de colaborar en un espacio común.
Finalmente, este invierno, de modo casi por casualidad, estas tres fuerzas se unieron y encontraron la joya que queremos compartir y hemos trabajado en lo que siento que es una maravillosa oportunidad para compartir nuestro proceso creativo con aquellos que quieran participar.

Explorando “Memorias de Paisajes Olvidados" fusionará el movimiento exploratorio en la naturaleza (guiado por @ancestral_body) con un viaje artístico a través de procesos de pintura del subconsciente (@ romaniesanchez), y a través de la conformación de una deidad mítica marioneta-máscara ofrecida como retorno a la tierra (@ theateroftheancients). Puedes apuntarte a uno o a los dos viajes de cinco días, que tendrán lugar del 9 al 13 y del 16 al 20 de octubre, y al no ser residenciales, son bien compatibles para los residentes (y podemos ofrecer opciones de alojamiento que se adapten a distintos presupuestos).
Consideramos que esta nueva clase de retiro ibicenco es artístico, político y ecológico... enraizado en los paisajes y la cultura locales, inspirando la regeneración a través de la pura expresión.
