BENITAGLA. A little village in Almería. Andalucía. Spain.
Dear Steemians,
we are currently on a trip driving in the south of Spain.
This weekend we were visiting the village of my great grandfather in Almería, in Andalucía. A small town where only 18 people live and they are all old.
The village is very well loved and cared for even with such few inhabitants. Here are some pics from Benitagla.
Very peaceful!
Best Wishes!

Long time no see..
18 old people? No grandchildren?
children and grandchildren are in the city, only older people left in the little village.
It seems incredible that it is so uninhabited, it is a beautiful place. Where did everyone go?
Now if you can say that the whole village can go to mass, they can all fit in there.
Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes
people left these regions to work in the city or in tourism on the coast. Mass I have been told is only held every two weeks with a Priest who goes to many villages. It´s a very quiet place.
Very pretty and cosy little village, great photos!
thank you! :-)
Foto yang yang bagus, Sekarang kakak kenapa jarang kali aktive😁
thank you! happy you enjoyed it!
You are lucky to be able to visit such beautiful little villages. The houses are painted in white and the flower tops look nice as contrast to white.
Yes, i´m so grateful to be visiting this part of Spain now. Best Wishes!
