In the Steem blockchain we can choose Steemit or Dtube as social media like Facebook, Twitter, Redit or others. On Steemit we can add friends and at the same time learn and earn money. The decentralized system makes the account holder not limited by anything. Everything is freedom 100 percent. We can post writing meme, photos, video, music etc without worry to be banned or deleted.

Upvote and reward

However, in making it I still have to manage wisely. Making quality posts is the demand of every Steemian.
For new accounts, of course, it takes a hard struggle to be able to continue to grow big. Even though we know the account will get bigger by adding the Steem Power we have. Meanwhile to get SP we must have Steem which we Power Up. To get Steem we have to buy on the exchange with the consequence of having to have money.
Well, unfortunately many of the Steemian do not have enough capital so they only rely on rewards from each post.
to get rewards, we have to get upvotes from whales, dolphins or large SP owners.
Anyone will be happy when the post he makes can get a big reward for being upvoted by the whales.

Don't beg

To make posts with big rewards, of course, you need to struggle. However, many of us only look with curiosity (if we don't want to say envy) to see a post with a big reward even though at first glance it looks simple.
what often goes wrong is to ask a large account to upvote the posts that he makes. as I show in the following screen shot. When @xpilar did a post he gave appreciation but then asked @xpilar to give an upvote.
Maybe the account that requested upvote ii still doesn't understand how to do it so that the post is upvoted by the owner of the big SP. Luckily, @xpilar still provides a very subtle answer and advises against doing it again like the following screen shot.

Then what to do?

We often feel sad when posts don't get rewarded or upvotes. For friends who have just joined on Steemit, I advise you not to be sad. I've also experienced when I first joined and posted without anyone responding, if you like please read here, and here. Youcan see in my screen shoot how I get no response for my post, not upvote nor comment. How sad I was.

Instead of complaining about not getting upvotes and then begging to others, there are many things we can do.

1. keep post without surrender

We are on the right track. I feel sad for a moment, but we can say show must go on. So I kep post and post. I try many way to get attention from the other steemian.

2. Learn and learn

As a newby i try to learn many things then I know Steemit better. nowI can smile when see the path of mine in Steemit.

3. Follow the dragon

We must have pattern in Steemit. We can choose many senior Steemian and we can follow them.

4. Join the community

By join the community we get many friends and find many excitement then we can make post with new spirit.

5. Join the discord

By join the discord we can make chatting and also get new friends. The more important is we can promote our post and then we make more chance to get upvote.
