But the portrait, I think, should be simple. He should not distract with a plot or entourage from the main thing - from the person. The face, the body, the movements of the character are mysterious in themselves, deep enough to add something else to them. And here the difficulty is not to add, but to remove the excess. Я люблю сложные и глубокие образы. Это от избытка образования и информации, идущей со всех сторон. Тут просто некуда деваться - надо наводить порядок в голове, приводить в гармонию.
