I will share few types of paper roses that I used to make.

Those are ,

  1. Easy spiral paper rose
  2. Folding rose using paper strips
  3. Origami Rose
  4. Petal layer rose
  5. Petal layer realistic rose

You will need ,

  • Few colors of A4 papers to cut strips and squares
  • Bottle of Glue
  • A scissor
  • 1.Easy spiral paper rose

Get a square or a circle. It will be easy with circle but no issue with using a square also. From starting from one corner cut a spiral of the paper as shown in step 2. Then start to roll up the spiral as in step 3 and you will get step 4, 5 while rolling up. When you reach step 6 which means almost end of the spiral the back of the rose will look like step 7. Then glue it as shown in step 8. Tada… you have rose within a minute 🌹. Size and the height of the rose depends on the square/circle and the width of the spiral.

    2. Folding rose using paper strip

Get two strips of A4 paper with width around 1cm or little bit more. Glue them together to create one long strip. Then start folding as shown in step 2. then roll a little bit like in step 3. And fold the to the out as shown in step 4,5. Continue the folding out along with rolling the paper. To complete the ending glue the end of the paper. You will get a nice rose.

    3. Origami Rose

Get a square as you prefer. I used a large square for this one. And start to fold step by step. Make sure to follow the steps in order. At the end, rolling the tip of the paper will make the design of the rose petals inside. Curve the outer petals to make a perfect look.

    4. Petal layer rose

For this I used four squares of same size. This is very easy. We all know how to fold a square to cut a block of flower which contains eight petals. Those steps are shown in 1, 2, 3. Then cut the shape of a petal directly. If you are not comfortable with cutting it directly, draw a peta or use a block as shown. I have shaped the petals a little bit rather than cutting it round. Then separate petals as in step 8. We will need only one of four petals. Then glue petals one by one. Steps are shown in 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14. Then glue the layers together and curve the petals of outer three layers for more beauty.

    5. Petal layer realistic rose

For this one also we need four squares. But the difference is we use only 5 petals for one layer instead of eight. Draw a block and use it to cut all four layers at once. Then curve it a little bit. Start to glue the petals of from the first layer as shown in step 5. And then fold each layer as in step 6, 7, 8. Here it is.

Isn’t it realistic? I think so. Compare with the real rose bud 💖.
