Pencil is forgiving.
If you are lose with it, it is much faster than pen.
I cannot do what you do.
For example, I am trying to draw for the @xpilar contest, and I am not sure I will be able to finish on time.
Already 6-7 drawing hours (12 total time, with smoke breaks, food, pee, phone, etc.).

I have already decided that I will try to make all my works that I drew with a ballpoint pen in graphite, I wonder what will come of it. I'm currently working on chapters 9 and 11 of Genesis (I'm still thinking about chapter 10) and I really liked the pencil, I lost a lot of time working with a ballpoint pen, although it gave me more courage, this can be said to be a plus :). I think that your work will outshine everything, good luck in the competition!

You are great both with pen and pencil. I think it is a mater of what you feel at a certain time that you prefer, or what works better for a specific task.

To be honest, I picked up a ballpoint pen only because I remembered how at school, in the lessons of the Russian language and chemistry, sometimes in other lessons, I preferred to draw rather than listen to the teacher :).

I was like you. I drew on all my books. When the surf was up, I'd be in the beach bodyboarding instead of being bored at school.
Just keep what you are doing. You always want to improve, but don't lose this thing that you can draw from imagination, and maybe some observation, and compose it the way you want. It is a gift. Do not lose it!

Thanks, I'll try not to miss it.
