Step-by-Step Map Drawing Guide

For an antique looking map, it is better to use a quality (thick) paper, though regular paper will work too.

Start by burning the sides of the paper (optional step).
Remember:
Fire is dangerous and should be done outside and under grownup supervision.

Quickly extinguish the fire.

Next, put the paper in water with tea or coffee, for an antique color. Let the paper stay in water for several minutes.

Let the paper dry.

For drawing, start with a pencil (because you can erase and fix mistakes).

When the result is satisfying, go over it with a pen.
