Rain also affects the development of pests which can directly involve a mechanism.

Heavy rain sweeps pests and these pests can die in water. But if the rain is not heavy, insects can develop.

This means that heavy rainfall can minimize the development of insects and non-heavy rain can breed. But it cannot be separated from high and low rain related to maximum, minimum temperature and air pressure.

If an increase in air and soil temperatures that differ between rainy season periods or wet and dry habitats can increase, inhibit, or increase the life of insects.

So this is a problem for farmers.
