Portrait of a not too young Russian beer lover. I took this photo during my walks around the city of St. Petersburg this summer. I am happily using a new weapon from my arsenal: weighty Canon 70-200mm telephoto lens. It does an excellent job! The victims of my photo-hunt do not even suspect that "they are being counted" :) Well, anyway this man had no objections when I approached closer and made a direct close-up of his leizure hour.
Портрет не слишком молодого любителя пива. Сделано во время прогулки по городу этим летом. Я счастливо осваиваю новое оружие из моего арсенала -- тяжеленный телевик 70-200мм. Он выполняет работу на отлично! Жертвы моей охоты и не подозревают "что я их сосчитал" :) Ну а этот мужик тем более не возражал, когда я подошел поближе и сделал крупный план его культурного отдыха прямой наводкой.

As they would say in my town, he had it pure coconut water, ha ha, how fun I had to read that he didn't notice anything, well at least he didn't have a fly in his mouth or any insect anything can get in

hehe, thank you! I love #streetphoto a lot, and love watching folks and make their portraits. a sad thing is that I am too shy, and Russian habitants... generally, they used to feel scared about being photographed (especially the people of elder generations... youth and kids are less prejudiced, and don't mind being photographed). anyway, my effective solution is telephoto! I am paparazzi :D
