CONTEST WEEK XV MACROPHOTOGRAPHY // 06/05/2021/THE CICADAS/
A pleasure for me to be once again participating in this contest led by the friend @sultan-aceh is very interesting to know a little more about arthropod animals, insects and others, I congratulate you and many successes in this contest.
I am going to show you an insect here in Venezuela we call it Chicharras they make a deafening noise, as we Venezuelans say they are bullerisimas that torment with that characteristic noise that identify it, they can live in tropical and temperate climates.
Their scientific name is Cicadidae (Cicadidae), they mate during the warm months.
Their life cycle of the females that lay their eggs soon die, while the males die due to the sound pressure produced by their stridulatory apparatus.
Photograph of cicadas mating among the bushes of this plant.
These pictures were taken in my niece's field with her J8 samsumg cell phone.
I hope you liked it and thanks for visiting my post.
