Rieselfelder Münster and save the planet from home
Hello my dear Steemians,
This is the new account “Planetwild” by @stef1 and @myskye. This account is about collecting Steem for the PlanetWild project. That's why I'm going to post once a day. Everything we get together here (Steem, SBD, SP) goes to the project. Then let's see what we can do here...
So tomorrow we started our journey from Scotland towards Münster (Germany), and this means there will be no post on Saturday !
But today I have a few photos from the Rieselfelder in Münster.
Rieselfelder Münster is a natural reserve located near the city of Münster in Germany. It is a protected area that consists of wetlands, ponds, and grasslands, providing living space for various bird species. The reserve is a popular destination for birdwatching and offers opportunities for hiking and cycling. Visitors can experience the beauty and tranquility of the natural environment while observing a diverse range of bird species in their natural habitat.
I used my old Sony RX10 camera and a Nikon P900.
12 simple ways to save the planet from home
How to save the planet from home
Biodiversity loss is one of the biggest issues facing humanity—in fact scientists believe we are living through an extinction event that is entirely manmade. Biodiversity is the life blood of ecosystems which in turn supports all living things—including us!
Without plants there would be no oxygen. Without forests there would be no way to draw carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Without bees we cannot pollinate our crops. Without the oceans we literally could not survive.
The climate crisis has warmed the planet to concerning levels, and the result it’s had on our delicate ecosystems is devastating and can feel really hopeless… but all is not lost! Have you ever wondered how you can help biodiversity from home? Here are some really impactful ideas that make a big contribution!
Thanks for this, i have learnt something new today
Rieselfelder Münster looks like a nice place to visit
Thank you for visiting our blog, this natural reservation area exist for last few decade, we supporting it for at least last 30 years, it is becoming bigger and well looked after year by year :)
great pictures!
Thank you for viewing :)
Aah, I've read something about that before. I thought it was more in the direction of Emsland...? Yes, we need such areas, but there is still the conflict with people's need for space. We're in the process of moving to a sparsely populated corner of the countryside. Should this option be a thing of the past? Should people only live in urban centres in order to preserve as much (more or less) intact nature as possible? I'm always really ambivalent about this...
To tell the truth now when we live in small area in Scotland we see that many young people move to the bigger and crowded places without any pressure, voluntarily like to London, Edinburgh and Glasgow although then for little basement room they pay about £700 pound a month without any regret.
In Scotland there is much more land without any population and villages and little towns are slowly dying off which is really sad.
That is probably the problem of generations, when we young we want to live in bigger places with convenience of supermarkets, restaurants and also entertainment opportunity but many later on come back to their roots.

Éxitos y que tengas un excelente día.
