We found a genius way to protect elephants

Hello my dear Steemians,

 

This is the new account “Planetwild” by @stef1 and @myskye. This account is about collecting Steem for the PlanetWild project. That's why I'm going to post once a day. Everything we get together here (Steem, SBD, SP) goes to the project. Then let's see what we can do here...

 

Today is a little update about the project that we presented about 15 days ago and that was about the bees how they could save elephants in Tanzania. If you did not read our post then I will give you a little update here but you can find the link to video above just under the image.

The whole story is that there is a village in Tanzania the elephants cross land and of course, they do not care if there any fields that were planted by local farmers. Often the destroy the plants without bad intention, the village people had to be alert and have to try to keep the animals away.

The mission is supporting a brilliant idea of the local people who created a long fence made of wire where they hanged out the wooden hives for local bees, once the elephants try to cross that area the wire pulls and shakes hives, that makes bees to fly out of their home, elephants try to avoid bees due to their painful stings of their sensitive ears,months and trunks. Therefore, once they hear or see bees they walk away from that place.
 

 

The Honey from Tansania

 

As I mentioned before, we are also supporters of "Planet Wild" Project and the subscription that we are paying is called "Hero member". The people who support the project have access to the discord of the Supporters and that is really interesting to see how many people from different countries.

After that mission video was prepared and Markus who was there on mission returned he brought a glass of that Tanzanian honey. The "Planet Wild" team decided to do a lottery among users and give it as present. Of course, many wanted to get it including us, but this time we were not lucky, still it was nice to have such gesture from the Team.

 

 

Yesterday the lucky one received its present, amazing that little glass of honey made its way from Tanzania to Europe
