Short Story | Contest.
She really loved clothes because they helped her express herself. When she was young, she used to cut up her clothes to make up better designs. Her mother was in awe of her talent so she started saving up a portion of her salary to buy her a small sewing machine. Her daughter Sienna did not have access to many clothes because they did not have enough money to buy new clothes always. However, Sienna managed to always dress herself smartly from her own made clothes.
Children at school started noticing her designs and would ask, “Where did you the clothes you are putting on?” She would politely answer where she got them from and mention that she altered them to get the current design. Children really loved her work and asked her to redesign their clothes to. They would pay a small fee. As the holidays came, she thought she would lose her customers but how wrong she was. The interests for work increased in that even parents started sending over their work.
Eventually, her 16th birthday reached and her mother surprised her with the sewing machine. She was the happiest girl in the world because her work had been made easier beyond her wildest dreams. Her offers therefore increased and she started a full blown business which literally started catering for all her needs and those of her family.
