RE: What Will the Future of "Work" Look Like?
Things change so fast nowadays indeed. We need to be part of the change, keep learning and acquiring new skills. Like a year ago, I didn’t know much about crypto currency but look at me now, here I am on Steemit. The self check out area also got extended in my local supermarket and there is now only one standing member of staff there who assists the customers if needed. What I do currently, being a travel agent, negotiating prices with ground handlers, writing content for the properties featured on the web and in brochures, choose the most appealing images, etc. isn’t something to be replaced by AI anytime soon. However the travel and hospitality industry were seriously affected by the global pandemic. It’s been nearly two years now with more cancellations than bookings. Many of my colleagues were made redundant. The people still employed in these industries are earning less so the extra Steemit income does help. Every little helps. Hopefully there will be no more lockdowns and there will be a great summer 2022 holiday season. On a separate note, I love the last photo you @denmarkguy featured here, the one with the spider web. It can be looked at as all the trendy now things which won’t be needed in let’s say 50 years time.
