The Position of Boredom

There is always a choice when you are bored. You can have be miserable and just sit there, I chose to draw that boredom 😄

I dont have much to say today except the fact that I still wanted to practice drawing. The day went by quickly at work, but after that...nada. Everyone is calm and feels like doing nothing at home, so...

Drawing the sitting position from the front viee without any reference is a bit of a challenge. I like to start from scratch so I will eventually have to get all the right sizes and angles...eventually. 😉

I think that sitting on the edge of a bed is one position that demonstrate well ghat feeling. Holding your head, thinking of everything and nothing all at once. Time can pass either fast or slow, but usually minutes seems like hours.

I did the basic sketch using a 4H pencil to add more details after using darker ones, all the way to 6b. I like to add watercolors to finish it up, it gives it charms with the pastel colors.
