Realistic Pencil Drawing of a black lady

Hello great members of world xpila. I’m delighted to share with you all my just finished drawing of a black lady that I did with charcoal pencils and powder. The size is 2ft x 3ft. I spend about 11 hours in a 4 days.

Below are the materials I used;

• charcoal pencil
• Charcoal powder
• Tombow mono zero eraser
• cardboard paper
• Brushes
• Fixative spray
• sand paper
• Ruler etc

Below are my progress shots:

I sketched the art using grid method.

**I used tombow eraser to detail her face



Done with her face

I spread charcoal powder

I started detailing her hair

DONE

I used charcoal powder and brush to shade background. Then sprayed it using a fixative so that it will not erase.
