Realistic charcoal portrait of my mentor

Hi great member of xpilar art community. Good to be back here after few months of been away because of school.

I present to you all my recent hyper realistic drawing of my mentor over here. I spent 9hrs working on it.

Materials used

Brushes:
Used for blending and applying charcoal powder. Ensure that you use a soft brush.

Blade:
Use for sharpening my charcoal pencils

Blending stump:
A piece of paper carefully fold to a pencil shape. Used for blending and adding of details e.g wrinkles

Sandpaper:
Use for grinding charcoal pencils to powder form

charcoal pencils (medium, soft and extra-soft

Kneaded eraser:
Used for detailing

Tombow mono zero eraser:
Use for detailing also

Nova spray: It is use to permanent the surface of finished art to avoid smudge.

Pencil drawing is a very simple task. We learn to draw through practice. So pathetic that lots of people plagiarize others art.
