#Club100- Rize Botanical Garden 🪴🌿🌳

Hello dear Steemians;

Today I will introduce you to the botanical garden in Rize, a small province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The Black Sea region is famous for its greenery. This botanical garden I visited is also a lush area with different plants located at the top of the city.

Before introducing this botanical park, I would like to briefly talk about Rize. Rize is a province with a population of approximately 100 thousand located in the Eastern Black Sea Region. Although it is a small province, Turkey's tea needs are met here.

You can drink freshly brewed tea at the cafe in this botanical garden. One of the first things that comes to mind when Rize is mentioned is tea. There are many tea factories in the city. Therefore, it is impossible not to come to Rize and not drink tea. The tea in this garden is at a very low price as it is for promotional purposes.

As the name suggests, the botanical garden contains many different types of plants. One of the most important features is that you can see different tea plants grown in Rize here. The first sample tea plants brought to the city were also planted here.

Although the botanical garden is located in the center of Rize, it is at the highest point of the city. You can go to this garden, which is about 3 km high, by city minibus. This park looked close when I looked at google maps. For this reason, we preferred to go on foot, but we got tired from time to time because it was very steep. However, since the distance was not very far, we reached our goal by resting in between.

The tea served here is produced exclusively for this park and is not sold in packages. The tea was quite delicious, and it is claimed that the most delicious tea to drink in Turkey is served here. We went here as two people and we ordered a small pot of tea. Although it was a small teapot, it was more than enough for us. The price was almost free for this taste. The price of the small teapot is 25 Turkish Lira (3.4 Steem)

Although it was difficult to leave the fresh air and lush scenery, we had a few more spots to visit in the city. Therefore, after drinking our teas, it was time to leave the garden. We were quite tired as we had climbed a steep slope on the way to the garden, but the way back was very comfortable.
