I loved the idea of this drawing, so elegant to represent death in a drawing. Maybe the message of the drawing is a little sad, to die without having anyone by your side, but I love the drawing.

🌵PROCESS🌵

This week I wanted to draw something. I feel like I've been away from drawing for the last couple of months, since I've been painting or doing art journal more than anything else, so I wanted to get back to drawing again.

The general idea for the drawing came to me because I had been talking the last few days with a friend about suicide and those things that other people don't like. But I'm a fan of those things and even though I've moved away from those subjects a little bit, I'm always going to have a fascination with that, hence my drawing style.

At the beginning I didn't know how to integrate death in a "nice" way, so I decided to integrate nature in this drawing, again. I used the mushrooms to represent the putrefaction of a person and thus give a little vision to that phase of life and death, but making it a little more pleasant. But in the end the story is still sad.

I really liked the drawing, the theme and everything. Besides, I feel that the message is reflected very well and maybe not everyone will get the message, but in the end what matters is to represent emotions, feelings and express situations and moments through art.
