WOX Blogosphere Magazine #155
Hi, I've decided to change the way I support authors whose posts make it into this journal. I hope my regular winners don't take offense, but I wish more authors felt their efforts were appreciated. From now on, every post that gets into the magazine gets 6% of the rewards.
And now let's move on to today's issue.
Just some thoughts on "Short Photo Posts"
Since coming back to blogging here a few months ago and doing a bit of post curation during that time, I have noticed that there are a lot of people who are quite regular with their posts, but the posts are essentially just a photo with sometimes even just one word. The photo is always what gets my attention, but then when opening the post I cannot really say anything, because there is nothing to comment on.
Eastern Elegance & Cultural Crossroads | Gateway to Eastern Europe
Greetings travellers, bloggers and Steemers! I guess today’s the day, today’s the day I’m finally going to make a post about my city. Well not that i never thought about it, it’s just there’s something very strange when i think of showing off my city.
Therapeutic Cooking or...
This is not a food post. I just want to share the power of therapeutic cooking. I had some guests, and I was very tired from the Eid shenanigans. But all I could think about in-between writing here on the platform was cooking and baking.
Eid Day in a Pakistani Household
On the 29th of Ramadan, my body almost failed me physically. Not because of fasting - I had over a dozen guests at home and no house help. I know the concept of house-help or servants is alien to most of you, but in Pakistan, we can't survive without them.
Circadian Rhythms: Embracing Our Natural Cycles in Life
As it turned out all human beings have something called "Circadian Rhythms." In general, that means that we are in tune with the planet which rotates once every 24 hours and our Circadian Rhythms are equally 24 hours long.
Unforgettable Hvitserkur - Imprinted by LightCaptured
If you search online for info about Hvitserkur in Iceland, you'll find plenty of photos and probably realize it's "just" a rock in the ocean in the Northern part of Iceland.
For me, however, that is a place I will never forget.
Setagayapark - Japanese Garden
What better time than spring to visit this heavenly place? Setagayapark is a beautiful Japanese park located in Vienna, Austria. From the information board, I learned that the park was designed by the famous Japanese landscape architect Takeo Yoshii and opened in 1974. This huge garden covers an area of about 20,000 square meters and includes various elements that represent traditional Japanese aesthetics and gardening.
When All Falls Down...
So my tree got shaken — rather a lot — back when I was in my early to mid 30's, at a time where I went through the end of my first marriage, a business bankruptcy, a personal bankruptcy and having to move four times in the space of three years.
I'm not depressed but have a cheery disposition but I have one fear and its haunting me for a reason
But I have now a deep fear about my bad disposition in life and that is to lose my family members especially my parents which are my emotional support which are the ones that cares for my well-being. Without them and the rest of my immediate family I will not be fairing well anymore because of my medical condition being so dependent on other people to help me-out.
A good idea!
No offence taken. Rather a very big thanks for rethinking your strategy. No one should ever feel left out...
🤘🏻
Thank you, I miscalculated a bit 🙄, so I intend to increase the percentage of rewards I share.
This post has been featured in the latest edition of Steem News...
No offense at all, @o1eh! I think it's actually better to encourage more people to create worthy content, and feel like they can get something for "being discovered."
As always, thanks for the acknowledgment and inclusion!
Of course, the rewards I share are symbolic. I once dreamed of developing a powerful account to provide substantial support to good authors. But now I understand that this is an extremely unrealistic task without investment. Nevertheless, I will do my best.
Thank you for sharing the rewards.
It was impossible to beat jaynie and soulfuldreamer anyways. 😅
I don't know how they can be so active and at the same time keep a high quality bar. They are well done.
I love the new way of the rewards because it will give everyone that partipated opportunity to be rewarded also
