Meet this wavy parrot, Hank. I bought it for my daughter (by the way in the photo he is sitting on her leg) when she said that she wanted closer contact with animals.

At first, the parrot did not come into contact with us. I thought it would last a month, a maximum of two. But it lasted six months. I already thought that either we were doing something wrong or we had a special parrot.

During this time I bought an aquarium. But the child wanted closer contact, she needed someone to caress. Why didn't I buy a cat or a dog? Because they are in the yard - two cats and one dog. I am a supporter of the idea that they are much better there than in a human dwelling… and I am better.

Six months later, during another walk, the parrot decided to get acquainted. He chose a child to meet. Suddenly he flew off the ledge and sat down on the child's leg. After this turning point, Hank became our hand parrot.

How much happiness such contact with an animal brings to the child! It's nice to watch. It's loud children's laughter, it's a good mood, it's a great game without a phone or computer.

What did I want to write about all this? Now I believe that every child should have a pet. It teaches a child to love his neighbor, even if this neighbor is an animal, it teaches the child to care for someone, teaches responsibility. When an animal dies, it teaches the child that in this life we ​​are definitely experiencing losses, and they can be painful.

Now the choice of pets is huge. These can be cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters. If you want there to be no garbage at all - it can be an aquarium, terrarium or ant farm. Buy someone a child, you will not regret it.
